“Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.” Matt 5:13
Have you ever paid attention to salt? Salt is an influencer. No salt and the food is flat. A little bit of salt and the flavors of the food and spices blend together. Too much salt and the food cannot be tasted. Salt is an influencer.
Jesus likened us to salt. We are an influence on our world. I like to say that salt stands for Sharing A Living Testimony. Our everyday life should bring a perfect taste or flavor to those around us. They should be able to see Jesus in our everyday life. They knew the Apostles had been with Jesus by their lives. So Sharing A Living Testimony is more than just what we say, it is how we live each moment. SALT the great influencer!
