Poems By Brittany Uzzle / a few months ago Share Tweet Pin Share It Won’t Last Suffocating darkness, I couldn’t see past The trial I was facing; forever it would last. The tears never stopped, but I trusted God still. I couldn’t see past the present, but trusted God to have His will. He had a plan- one that I couldn’t see, One that would mold me into what I was to be. Now the cloud is breaking and the Sun is shining through. He won’t give us more than we can bear; I’ve found this is true. My trial is almost over and I’ll soon Reach the mountaintop. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been. I have a reason to not stop. I’m praising God for bringing me through. Living for Him is the best thing I could ever do. — If you enjoyed reading this poem please consider sharing on social media.
