Poems By Savannah Ellis / a couple of years ago Share Tweet Pin Share Tears for You I remember the painful day you died. I remember the buckets of tears I cried. It seemed the entire world fell apart that day. I felt like I was losing a friend along the way. You were so close to my heart, So close and so dear, I never wanted to part. God had other plans for you and me and I suppose that’s just the way it has to be. I know you are free of pain now, but sometimes I wish that somehow you could be with me everyday. And I think the memories will never stray. I believe my Father will get me through but grandmother, these tears are for you. ************************************************************************************************ If you enjoyed reading this poem today please consider sharing on social media.
