Poems Words Of Encouragement By Danielle Hollinger / last year Share Tweet Pin Share I am very excited; this is my first blog entry on this website!! I am looking forward to sharing my thoughts, dreams, experiences, and inspirations with others. It is my hope that my words will be a blessing to others. I used to write another blog to keep family and friends updated when my husband was deployed to Iraq. However, since he has been home I have not updated it. I am really encouraged about this apostolic venue. I am currently pursuing a bachelors degree in English. As one can guess, when studying English there are endless writing assignments. When I could, I tried to include Jesus in my writings. For this first post, I would like to share a Shakespearean style Sonnet that I wrote about my son (Jake, he is 8) and God’s faithfulness. I pray that it is a blessing to you. Ultimate Restoration My son you are the happiness of life; Smiling, laughing, absorbing each day. Overlooking its flaws and complex strife; Ever rejoicing, and not led astray. Trusting, you commit with all of your heart; Never forsaking who you truly are. Ready to conquer and wisdom impart; Exploring, learning life’s world near and far. But when for a second life throws a curve; Throws you off balance bringing fear and pain. Broadcasting failures and faults undeserved; Leaving your spirit desolate and slain. Remember the one who brings forth healing; Mistakes forgotten, His grace revealing. ********************************************************************************************** If you enjoyed reading this post today please consider sharing on social media.
