Sometimes you just have to use good common sense. Nothing else can replace it. Good common sense is also a very rare commodity; it is not something that everyone has. Some have a lot of it and some just have a bit.
The writer of the oldest book of the Bible intrigued me. He tells us that God looked at all He had done. He compared creation to Himself. He is the almighty God who brought it all about. He looked at those things and His control over them. He decreed them, measured them and ruled them.
Then God looks at man and tells man that reverence of God just makes good common sense. In fact, it is just plain good thinking to follow the ways of God.
