Where do we put our hope? A question that we each have to answer for ourselves. When the pressure of life builds, where are we going to turn for help? When disease, financial problems, family situations or the multitude of lifes other things happen, how will we survive?
“I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word. Mine eyes prevent the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.” Ps 119:147-148
It is the wise man who puts his hope in the Word of the Lord. If I follow the Word of the Lord and apply it, God will be faithful to His Word. Example! The one place in the Bible that God says to put Him to the test is in our giving. (Mal 3:8-12). If you are dealing with financial problems, your hope is in God, in His Word. Increase the percentage of your giving and see if God doesn’t stand behind His Word. Where is your Hope?
