Treat Me Like a Dog!

Treat Me Like a Dog

I hope you are having a great day today!

Do you have a dog? We do and one of the outstanding characteristics of a dog is their desire to please. When we come home from being gone for any length of time Molly is so happy to see us. She will bark a greeting, wag her tail and pant. It is like she has a huge smile on her face because of her excitement. She wants us to stop and scratch her head and say her name.

“I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments. Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.” Ps 119:131-132

I couldn’t help but picture Molly when I read this passage of scripture. I need to have that type of attitude toward God and his Word. Longing for Him to recognize me and speak to me. Understanding that I love Him and His Word. I guess this would be one time when it would be good to be “treated like a dog!”

Just a Thought! God Bless.
