Psalm 47
Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples!
Shout to God with the voice of triumph!
For the LORD Most High is awesome;
He is a great King over all the earth.
He will subdue the peoples under us,
And the nations under our feet.
He will choose our inheritance for us,
The excellence of Jacob whom He loves. Selah
God has gone up with a shout,
The LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
For God is the King of all the earth;
Sing praises with understanding.
God reigns over the nations;
God sits on His holy throne.
The princes of the people have gathered together,
The people of the God of Abraham.
For the shields of the earth belong to God;
He is greatly exalted.
Have you praised the Lord today? Are you experiencing a situation in which you feel trapped and burdened? Is there something going on that is keeping you from feeling joy? Praise the Lord! Sing a song, read a psalm aloud, tell the Lord how great and awesome He is! By praising the Lord, we take the focus off our problems and situations and put the focus on our Lord. This gives the Lord the opening He needs to take our situations and problems and handle them His way. We are releasing our cares and burdens to the Lord and recognizing that He is bigger than our problems.
So, I ask you again – Have you praised the Lord today?

Prayer for You Today
Dear Heavenly Father, You are awesome, mighty, righteous, faithful and true. You are loving, gracious, our hope and peace. You are our safe place and we hide under the shadow of Your wings. We run to You for our strength, our comfort, our joy! With You we are complete! May You be the center of our worship and praise always! Help us to redirect our focus when our flesh wants to stray. We love You and Your praise will be forever on our lips. You deserve and we give You all the glory and honor, in Jesus’ name. Lord thank you for being our Shepherd who helps us and comforts us. Help each one who comes to this site with needs and meet each need according to Your Holy Will. When we bcome discouraged to just praise you in the trials and storms of life we face.Jesus help each of us to have the faith of a mustard seed to grow in our faith . Jesus thank you that you bottle up our tears and someday we will have no more suffering and pain when we are with You. Lord thank you that you heal our scars from the battles we face in life. Lord help us to lean on You in our pain and suffering in the storms that come upon us for You won’t give us more than we can bear Thank you for your great love to each of us. Jesus touch each one who has needs in their lives today be they spiritual, emotional, financial or medical . Some or many who may be discouraged or suffering pain and illness lift them above the discouragement and the sickness and give us all victory in You.Lord comfort those who may have lost loved ones and wrap Your loving arms around them. We praise You Jesus and thank You for answering our prayers.
