” You Can Climb Any Mountain”
Scripture Text: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. (Ephesians 4:16 KJV)
Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world. The height of this mountain is 8,850 m which is 29,035 ft. Mount Everest is covered with enormous glaciers that descend from the main peak. The climate of Mount Everest is extremely colder. In January, the coldest month, the peak temperatures normally are – 36° C (-33° F), and the temperatures can drop to -60° C (-76° F). In July, which is the warmest month, the temperatures are normally -19° C (-2° F). There were at least fifty men who set up camp at the bottom of this gigantic mountain. They all set up tents, made sure their equipment was working properly and made sure that they had the proper clothing gear to face the coldest temperatures. Each one of those men was ready to climb Everest early the next morning. The frigid temperatures could cause a lot of the Mountaineers to lose their own limbs or worse their own lives. We all are surrounded by despair. We see it all the time in people who have a no care attitude for their own fellow man. My prayer daily is to be sensitive to the needs of others. Trust me, people will take you wrong at times. It’s not their approval that counts anyway. The end result is what’s going to matter. Why are we here if not to do a work for the Lord? Life here on this earth is so short so make a difference in someone’s life today. Reach your hand out and tell that person you care for them. ‘’And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him’’ (Malachi 3:17. KJV) What a wonderful promise we have when we serve the Lord. The Lord doesn’t owe us anything unless we are faithful. Stay Encouraged.
