”Everyday Maintenance”
The care and maintenance is the life of a vehicle, lawn mowers, airplanes, and boats. By keeping the oil changed, and all the fluids checked on a regular basis. This will help keep it all running accurately, and the repairs will be limited. Our walk with the Lord is just like the maintenance of our vehicles.
When we don’t do the right things it makes the Lord unhappy. When we know to do right by someone and we let pride set in that makes the Lord unhappy. When we show off about all the material possessions we have, and we know a family that could use a new outfit or two that makes the Lord unhappy at us. The Word of God records, ‘’Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is the fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore’’. (Proverbs 16:11 KJV) Living for the LORD is not an overnight thing. Some people want to be favored by an important person now don’t they? I think personally it’s a built-in ego that they have in themselves to be around someone just like that. People can have all the prestige of this world can give them. In the same way, people want to be favored by men, I want to be favored by the LORD. It’s His ways that’s going to count in the end. I thank God daily for the good friends, he has brought into my life. Stay Encouraged!
