A Real Halloween
AFRAID OF THE BIG BAD WOLF
Isa 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through
the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through (notice:
through not out of ) the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame
kindle upon thee.
:4 Since you were precious in My eyes, you are honored, and I love you
:5 Fear not, for I am with you
Isa 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper;
And every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou
Shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the
LORD…
Isa 53:3 We despised and rejected him; he endured OUR suffering
and pain. No one would even look at him we ignored him as if
he were nothing.
Isa 53:4 “But he endured the suffering that should have been
ours, the pain that we should have borne. All the while we
thought that his suffering was punishment sent by God.
Isa 53:5 But because of our sins he was wounded, beaten because
of the evil we did. We are healed by the punishment he
suffered, made whole by the blows he received.
REFLECTIONS:
Hollow… een? Booo! Are u afraid of the big bad wolf?
Afraid of ur circumstances? Ur situation? Ur job stability?
Marriage failing? Financial ruin? Your health failing? Hum…
People celebrate Halloween and they do not realize that they bring their own fears to pass in doing so. Because if you celebrate fear and evil, you give life and control to the spirits of fear and evil!
But notice Jesus said:” No weapon formed against you shall prosper”
When u go through the storms of life, the fire of affliction, the waters of trouble and despair. He will take you through not out but through it.
To many times we give more credit to circumstances than the creator.
We fear trouble and trials more than we trust truth and faith! God never loses control he is always in control, in his words
“..FEAR NOT! I will never leave you nor forsake you”
Lastly, remember this HE SUFFERED SO WE WOULD NOT HAVE TO SUFFER! HE CARRIED SICKNESS SO WE WOULDN’T HAVE TO.
HE ACCEPTED GUILT SO WE COULD HAVE MERCY!
HE DENIED HIMSELF SO WE COULD ACCEPT HIM.
It’s time for a real Hollow -een! ( Which means to make holy and to honor)
