What meaneth this?
Hum its Easter? But I like to call it Christ resurrection day! A lot of things going on and families gathering. Egg hunts, chocolate bunnies, candies, and bar-b-qs. But what does it all really mean? To you? To me? To them? All the while people celebrate? Today many others go without, many are hurting.
Many addicted to things that destroy lives, bodies, minds, and marriages? People bullied and suicidal? Depressed and discouraged, heartbroken and lonely? You feel me yet? While others are happy and celebrating many others are HATING and complaining? So let me ask again what meaneth this day to you? You see it’s because of this day and Christ resurrection specifically! Yeah, some call it Easter? But the truth and fact remain. That because and as a result of Jesus death on the cross, and the empty tomb, You, on the other hand, don’t have to be empty! Your life and heart need not be empty or lonely? Hurting or broken? Used or abused? And our life for that matter only need be empty of the futility and misery, regrets and doubts, bondage and addictions. They all were abolished and overpowered at the cross and the empty tomb. And again because of this day, I can! You can! People can! Go to sleep and wake up free, refreshed, encouraged, empowered and overjoyed! Wake up with victory! Not controlled by flesh, the world, carnal people, and friends, wake up with the Holy Ghost in you! One writer said, “it was Joy unspeakable and full of glory!” But as for this writer, I leave you with this: And indeed it’s something to rejoice over and shout about!
“1Co 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
