I Am On Edge Trying Not To Fall In
I am on edge
Trying not to fall, needing to believe all is not lost.
I am on the edge, looking in
Wanting, trying, needing to believe
You are really there for me
I am searching with arms wide open
My prayers are from the edge
I am thirsty for your word
Hungrey for your touch
Gripped in a struggle
A trail, wanting, needing
To feel your presence.
Pour out your spirit
Cleanse me anew
My eyes are open
I need your tender mercies
Washing over me, time after time
Straight from the edge
Back into your everlasting arms
With words of Praise
I am running
Runnning
Running
Back to you , Lord!
