Rejoice!
Rejoice! Rejoice! Again I say Rejoice! Have you taken time today to Rejoice? There is power in the world rejoice. The Webster Dictionary defines “Rejoice” to give joy to. It also states “to feel joy”. Another online dictionary states “to fill up with joy”. There are about 259 references to Rejoice in the bible. I asked myself why so many. Then I realized it’s because when you are rejoicing you can’t help but feel the Spirit of the Lord. So I say to all of you – REJOICE!
In Matthew 5:12 it says to Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Matthew 28:9 says “As they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying “Rejoice!” They came and took hold of his feet and worshiped him.
I’m telling you if you can get a hold of the power with rejoicing, Jesus will meet you the other half of the way and raise you up higher, above whatever you are facing. In the midst of the battle, Rejoice. When you are sick in your body and you don’t have the strength to raise your head – Rejoice. When you have bills coming due and you already know you won’t have enough from your paycheck to take care of them – Rejoice.
Free yourself from the worldly expectations and outcomes of this life and step into the realm of the impossible and REJOICE! Grab a hold of Jesus and Rejoice.
Lifting up Holy Hands, speaking praise and worship to the God that can take care of your every need. Before you start your day with grumblings and complaining – Rejoice. I promise you will be filled with the joy of the Lord and His Spirit will feel your soul, spilling over from the inside out. Rise up and Rejoice!
