Good morning! How has your week gone?
There is a saying that has become very popular recently, “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!” This is said as if our actions will be secret because we don’t tell. Who do we think we are kidding?
“My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly. I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee.” Ps 119:167-168
Every action we do is seen by God, if no one else. It doesn’t really matter whether or not our friends, family and neighbors approve or disapprove, what does God say about our life? It is His opinion that counts. Our life needs to be an open book before God, because in reality it is. We need to seek His approval. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! Who are we kidding?
