Though you mock and persecute me; I shall go on.
Though you hate me; I shall go on. Oh! You with slings and arrows of insults!
Oh! You with a boiling cauldron of hatred!
Oh! You who wishes me dead!
I have something to announce to you! Though you spit on me; I shall go on.
Though you curse my name; I shall go on.
Though you cut, nick, and bite at me; I shall go on. Oh! You of evil!
Oh! You of the dark!
Oh! You of the shadows!
I have something to announce to you! Though you wound me; I shall go on.
Though you throw me in a pit of darkness and solitude; I shall go on.
Though you slay me; I shall go on. Oh! You who vex me!
Oh! You of the dark shadows!
Oh! You of a great, and dark evil!
I will overcome! You shall vex me no longer! You lurk hungrily in the shadows, but I—I shall go on!
