Good morning! What a precious day God has blessed us with.
As a parent I love my children and grandchildren without reservation. It doesn’t matter what they do, or for that matter, what they don’t do I will always love them. However, there are times when they have done something that has cause my love for them to be increased. Some of those times were when they showed great effort to please me and get close to me.
“Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes. Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.” Ps 119:135-136
God will always love us, no matter who or what we are. Yet I desire more from God than just that unconditional love. I want Him to look upon me with favor because I have tried to learn more of Him and have lived to please Him according to His Word. When God hears my name or looks at me, I want His face to light up with pleasure. I guess we could call it “Love Shine”!
