”I Know the Peacemaker”
Scripture Text: ‘’And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savor’’ (Ephesians 5:2 KJV)
Honey-pot ants are a type of ant that overeats with food. They eat so much their abdomens are so huge in size by bulging. There are other ants that remove nourishment from the honey-pot ants. Every so often invaders from other settlements will endeavor to take prisoner the residents of the honey-pot ants because of their relatively high nutritional value. The honey-pots ants have a few enemies such as a lizards and human beings. In the Word of God it records, ‘’Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise’’ (Proverbs 6:6 KJV) Jesus expects us all to live our lives in such a matter that we are revealing Him to the lost and dying world. We need to be sacrificing our time and energy in serving others. The fact of the matter is that we all have been around people that aren’t a peacemaker. The definition for peacemaker is: one who makes peace especially by reconciling parties at variance. (Merriam-Webster) They just love it when people are fighting back and forth or they stir up past circumstances that happened to them. It might have been their fault or the other person’s fault. What does it matter in the end? The bottom line is this, we can not change people what may think of us or not. No matter if we have never done anything to the person. Some people are just mean, cruel, or cold-blooded. I want my life to portray love and kindness to my enemies, and well as my fellow man. Stay strong friendsJ
