Bible Studies By Lynne Conley / a couple of weeks ago Share Tweet Pin Share How Great Is Thou Faithfulness How far would we go for someone in need? Does it take a lot of push and shove to get our bodies to move into action? When someone is in need, we shouldn’t think twice about helping. It should be an automatic feeling that comes inside us. It’s called compassion. Our society is full of hateful, self centered, heartless people, and prideful people. ‘’O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh’’.( Matthew 12:34 KJV) There are people that aren’t so beautiful in their outward appearance but on the inside we can all see what’s inside of them. From the inside out, their mouths speak words of kindness and gentleness, and their deeds show kindness and helpfulness to those in need. There are givers and takers in this world in which we are living. Which one are you: a giver or a taker? Many times people can and will take advantage of good-natured people. People will do what they have to make themselves look better than the next person. The Lord puts all kinds of people in our pathways. Some people are just placed in our lives to make us stronger people of God. What makes a person so mean and arrogant to another human being? It really is so easy to be nice to someone else, and it takes more effort to be mean. We’d have to think on it, now don’t we? People that are unselfish are people that are happy; they put others first always. Do we really trust the Lord to help us through our problems? Are you carrying some bad experience too long? Give it to the Lord, and I will guarantee you that He will take care of it for you. Jesus was our prime example, and He showed love, kindness, and mercy to those He came in contact with. We have to stop looking for what we don’t have. Covetousness is dangerous. Don’t let it grow in your life. Be content with what you have. Stay Strong!
