Good morning! This is the day the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it.
I have heard people talk about developing a taste for the “finer” things in life. Fine homes, cars, foods, clothes, travel and so many other things. They always look for the name brand item, because it is “finer.” We should be that way about the Word.
“Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold. Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.” Ps 119:127-128
What if the Word of God were regarded in our life as being better than gold? What would happen in our relationship with God if we regarded His Word to be more precious than money, riches, prestige or anything else of this earth? The Word is a 24 carat treasure!
