Dedicated for Loyalty

Scripture Text: Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Matthew 11:29 KJV
Esther was a Jewish orphan child raised by her father’s nephew Mordecai. Mordecai held an office to the Persian King Ahasuerus. King Ahasuerus orders his wife Queen Vashti to show off her beauty to his entire kingdom during the feast. The Queen Vashti denied him and was unwilling to be shamed by this humiliating order. The King was upset at the Queen because she wouldn’t obey his command.
The King asks of his wise men and the seven princes of Persia as to what to do about this incident. They all advised him to banish the Queen Vashti for her disobedience toward the King’s request. By following his counsel he was searching for a new queen.
From every region these beautiful young woman all gathered to the palace. These young women went on a six-month beauty treatment before they could meet with the King. The King orders to see Esther – he had chosen her to be his wife, and the queen.
Queen Esther put her life on the line for her people. That’s real compassion for her people. She had all maidservants fast and prays for three days. On the third day, she went before the King. Esther knew she was breaking the law. She goes into the courts; she is so scared and can’t even look up. The king welcomes her in his court. He puts his golden scepter on her head. The king tells all in the court room it’s acceptable for Queen Esther to be in the court room.
The king asks Queen Esther what was her request. She gives her requests to the king. She invites the King and Haman (the man that sought out to kill the Jews) to a banquet. The next day Esther goes before the king and tells him that her life was in danger. He was angry, and he had Haman put to death. Her people were saved from the hands of Haman.
When someone is nice to you, what do you do? We all should thank people for being so nice to us. Our actions speak way louder than our words ever do. We all have been around people who aren’t nice.They are plain out mean to others. Don’t be selfish, you will never go wrong when you put others before yourself. Dedicate yourselves to loyalty. Selfish people aren’t happy people; they are grumpy, and moody, most of the time. People that are unselfish are people that are happy, they put others first always. Stay strong!
