Have you ever noticed how everything changes. Several years ago I was fishing on the Eel River in Northwest California. I was standing on a gravel bar trying not to cast to far because it would have been all of the way to the other side. An old timer stopped by and as we talked told me that when he was young where I was standing would have been several feet deep with water. I could have wadded all of the way across. Things had changed.
“Consider how I love thy precepts: quicken me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness. Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.” Ps 119:159-160
One of the beautiful things about the Word of God is it never changes. It is always the same, forever! I can use it as the foundation of my life because it is steadfast and unmovable. There is not an expiration date on the Word of God!
