The Alarm Clock Just Buzzed

By Susan Niswonger / 8 hours ago

The Alarm Clock Just Buzzed Sleeping peacefully, snuggled under a cozy quilt, I was suddenly awakened by the shrill sound of an alarm clock.  I am known in the family as an “early bird.”  My eyes pop open at first light and I hit the floor running.  I am the one who walks into the […]

The Time Is Not Yet

By / yesterday

I knew the Lord’s will. But I missed the Lord’s timing. And herein lies the message. The Lord has a perfect time for His perfect will. He is perfect, and so are His plans for us. So is His timing for His plans. He is the great orchestra-tor – the great conductor – of everything good and everything beautiful. Right down to the very detail of all of His creation. Right down to the very time frame of it all.

The Smallest Angel

By Michael Winskie / a couple of days ago

The Smallest Angel By Michael Winskie        The year was 1975. Vietnam was almost over. VW microbuses were slowly being replaced by a new generation of “muscle cars”. Disco was beginning to sprout its neon wings. Life in the small town of Moultrie, Ga. seemed to move at a snail’s pace compared to the rest of the […]

For you must survive, even though you feel like you are dying

By Debra Jones / a few days ago

For you must survive, even though you feel like you are dying Written By: Debra Hearn Jones Have you ever gone through an ultimate betrayal, caused by someone you love unconditionally, that when you discover their betrayal, the shock catches you totally off guard, and your body’s response feels as though it reacted separately from […]

When You’re Vulnerable

By / a few days ago

See, when Satan dangled his bait before my hungry eyes, and desperate heart, I opened wide my mouth and prepared to take a big greedy delicious bite. Imagine, after all the time I’d been following Jesus, after all the time I’d spent studying the Bible, after all the time I’d received godly counsel, after all the experience I’d had through the years doing wrong and learning how to do right, there I had found myself about to fall hook, line, and sinker for the devil’s tantalizing, scrumptious-seeming bait.

Pearls For Him

By Kaylynn Schrack / 5 days ago

Pearls for Him I know you have heard the story about how a pearl is created by one tiny sand particle rubbing the inside of the oyster to create this beautiful thing, but I have a new spin on it. Our lives are like the oyster shell, when we have friction rubbing in us we […]

Terms and Conditions

By Susan Niswonger / 6 days ago

Terms & Conditions In the last few years, the Internet has become an integral part of our everyday lives.  We use it to communicate with loved ones, share pictures and daily activities on social networks, learn what is happening in every country of the world, purchase new toys and sell the old ones.  If you […]

God Center Your Desires

By James Mitchell / 7 days ago

Psalm 37:4 (KJV) Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. I was sitting in church tonight listening to my pastor preach on altar work. And I’ve always been the type of person sadly that thinks I’m not good at altar work. I love to work on […]

“If You Love Me”

By / last week

We are to say no to selfishness and self-centeredness. We are to say yes to Jesus. If we love Jesus, we obey Jesus. When we disobey Jesus, if we love Jesus, we seek God’s forgiveness and turn back to Him and strive to do what’s right. We live to honor God. Not to honor self. We live to glorify God. Not us. We live to please God. Not self.

Her And Me At The Well

By Ginger R / last week

I have always felt a “kindred spirit” with the woman at the well. What my life was like before I met Jesus and the life I heard she lived. We all have our own “well”. Our own place where Jesus met us and surprised us by allowing Him to fill us with His Spirit and […]
