When Enough is Enough

The word "Enough" can be defined as being to a satisfactory level; sufficiently; or in retrospect, used to express impatience or exasperation.
Enough can also be defined as...
He is able to supply all my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus
Phillippians 4:19

He is able to give me enough as I travel on this road of life...

In retrospect, enough is...
They had had enough of having nothing...they were starving! The lepers sitting outside the gate of Samaria were starving; they h… Continue

Just who do we portray?

A freind e-mailed me this and it blew me away. The Word of God states we need to examine ourselves to see whether we are of the faith or not. Just where do we stand; what do people see in us that would make them desire to come to church with us...

A few years ago, a group of salesmen went to a regional sales convention in Chicago.
They had assured their wives that they would be home in plenty of time for Friday night's dinner.

In their rush, with tickets and briefcases, one of these salesmen i… Continue

Living in Grace

Rom 6:1-2
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Living in Grace isn't living the way we always had before our encounter with the Master, but walking in a new direction. Walking after the Spirit, seeking to model Christ in our lives, taking on the form of a servant, being not conformed to this world but being transformed by the renewing of our minds.
Walking after the Spirit, and not aft… Continue

We send you wonderful people sweetest greetings in the name of Jesus.
We just wanted to let you know we finished this stage of our deputation and due to many responsibilities we are returning to Brazil next Monday. We want to thank you for your kindness to us and for the many things we were able to accomplish on this short trip, Besides many routine things returning to Brazil we will be receiving visits from America several times during November and December. Our schedule includes going to the regional convention in the state of Minas Gerais then visiting a few churches in the state of Sao Paulo. Pastor Hugo will take us in his car from Sao Paulo to Minas Gerais and back to Sao Paulo since he is the regional overseer. After we finish that we will fly to the state of Ceara in the far northeast for their regional convention. Since we do not have a car we will catch a bus to Maceio riding 2 days.
Then we leave the 11 of December for Peru for a few days rest meeting up with Brother and Sister Lewis (our friends that are paying this vacation for us). We are looking forward to that but after that we fly from Peru to Campinas for 2 days of special services then we fly on the 21st of December to the far north city of Sao Luis and we will rent a car and drive on to the jungle which is a full hard days drive to dedicate the 2nd church in the jungle and dedicate the foundation of the third one! We will then return to Sao Luis and return the rented car and fly back to Sao Paulo where they continue on to the states and we stay over once again to visit more churches until the 4th of January and then we return to Maceio until the 18th when once again we travel to the states…
The end of Jan. we are flying back to the states arriving in Dallas and heading for California for more deputation. If you know anyone who would like to have us on the route from Texas to California please get in contact with us. Our plans are to do some deputation in California, Georgia, east Tennessee and North Carolina then a couple churches in Ark and we do have one church in Mississippi wanting us to come so we will see if we can fit it in also.
The next months we will be on a tight schedule visiting many works in Brazil and returning to the states on a tight schedule. Please keep us in your prayers. We know there is much to do in these last days.
Thanks so much for your love and concern for us “ole timers”. We love working with God’s precious people and thanks for letting us be a part of your lives. We are so blessed.

Good mornng, Bro. & Sis. Mikesell! I am enjoying your music so very much. I don't have many CD's, DVD's and such, so I appreciate all these good songs. I have lots of cassette tapes, but my tape players don't work very well. So, thank God for EA and all my brothers and sisters! I appreciate you so much. God bless!

God has brought me through so much I just can't tell you the relief & gratitude I feel toward Him for it all. Some of what I've been through was useless & I'll never understand the "whys" of it. Now that peace & contentment are returning to my life, I'm beginning to feel the "whys" really don't matter. What really matters to me is that I have gained something so valuable from the experiences that it just may have been worth it all. The walk I now have with God is the beginning of a "Trust Walk" that most people dream of. I've said this before in my writings, before I was aquainted with God, kind of like many that come into the lumberyard I manage, now I truly know Him. Before my prayers were about me and what I desired and felt, now because I know Him, I want to know His desires and needs. It's that way when you truly love and know someone, it's not all about yourself. Thus one of my big motivations for the womens meetings I do & hope to do. I have to do as you mentioned and share what I've been through and help another. That's how you make sense of things that happen. Long story short, women and men that walk in faith and trust in God are not as likely to make crazy, desparate decisions. I love God so much, He's just everything to me & it took me a long time to see that. Thank you and Sis. Mikesell for your EA friendship & God bless you both and the ministries you are part of.

GOD BLESSED ME! By: Debra Hearn Jones-3-12-10

God is on time, and recently blessed me in a way , That still makes me feel like I am walking on Air. This is a story about Love, worthiness, and learning to trust, Jesus first and man second. It is also about being released from a life long bondage of hate. I share this for His Glory! My Lord and Savior , Jesus!

The Gift of Life Can Be a Battle

In our lives, we may face many difficult challenges. Situations that demand our immediate attention. Sometimes we become so overwhelmed with troubles in our world, that we easily forget about this blessing called life! If a person is not careful, they will only focus on the bad, and forget the good in their world! Learn to see the beauty that is in life, take a good look at what you do have in this life of yours. This will help you through the battle's that do come in this life of ours.

Take Up Your Bed and Walk!

Has life dealt you a stinky mess? Maybe it is time you took up your bed and walked!

Can You Believe Him for the Glory?

We don't have a hard time believing God for the past, we have seen and heard. We don't have time believing God for the present, we know He can do it. We don't have a hard time believing Him for the future we believe His Word and that He will. However, we do have a hard time believing that the test we are facing can bring Glory to God...

Church Leaders: What Are We Building

Why is one the biggest problem of the church today retention? I have heard of wonderful evangelistic events that have resulted in many being born again: yet a short time later, these people cannot be found. To me, this is a problem. Maybe it has to do with what we are building?
