My New Job!

Well, as some of you know, I have recently accepted a new job with the Army Corps of Engineers. I will be working out of the Ft. Leavenworth office in Kansas. God has opened the door and I give him all the glory. Our prayer was that He would open the door or close it at His will.

This may be good news for some and bad news for others but there is one significant outcome from me taking this new job. This means that we are NOT going to move next April after my current job is over. Olathe is stuck… Continue

Hey Andrew. I haven't talked to you in a while. LOL! So....what's been happening? We had a "singsperation" yesterday at church. It was fun. We could nominate people to sing or play an instrument. It was a fund raiser for the music department. We didn't get out of church till like 6 or later. It was lots of fun though!! :~) Except I had to play my violin! Brother Starr was like "Ellie, I'd like to hear you play." and so Anthony went and signed me up. I was SCERED!!! :~) Oh well...it was a good time. :~) Anything new and exciting in your world?

GOD BLESSED ME! By: Debra Hearn Jones-3-12-10

God is on time, and recently blessed me in a way , That still makes me feel like I am walking on Air. This is a story about Love, worthiness, and learning to trust, Jesus first and man second. It is also about being released from a life long bondage of hate. I share this for His Glory! My Lord and Savior , Jesus!

The Gift of Life Can Be a Battle

In our lives, we may face many difficult challenges. Situations that demand our immediate attention. Sometimes we become so overwhelmed with troubles in our world, that we easily forget about this blessing called life! If a person is not careful, they will only focus on the bad, and forget the good in their world! Learn to see the beauty that is in life, take a good look at what you do have in this life of yours. This will help you through the battle's that do come in this life of ours.

Take Up Your Bed and Walk!

Has life dealt you a stinky mess? Maybe it is time you took up your bed and walked!

Can You Believe Him for the Glory?

We don't have a hard time believing God for the past, we have seen and heard. We don't have time believing God for the present, we know He can do it. We don't have a hard time believing Him for the future we believe His Word and that He will. However, we do have a hard time believing that the test we are facing can bring Glory to God...

Church Leaders: What Are We Building

Why is one the biggest problem of the church today retention? I have heard of wonderful evangelistic events that have resulted in many being born again: yet a short time later, these people cannot be found. To me, this is a problem. Maybe it has to do with what we are building?
