My favorite bible character..... Moses, as i started my sunday school at the aged of 8. Moses knew that without the help of the Lord, he could do nothing. The Lordhad shown Moses His power in the burning bush and in the parting of the Red Sea and he knew the power of prayer. Moses loved God and served Him, and Moses prayed that the people of Israel would grow in wisdom and be succesful in everything they did. Until now in this new era we are still pray of Moses prayer that without the help of the Lord we could do nothing..... Lord"thou has been our dwelling place in all generations........ (Psalm 90:1,17.)

Timothy... his eagerness to learn from his mentor, Paul, and his serving the man of God. The Timothy principle is still alive today in our lives and hearts. Sir Clark

My favorite character since i was a little girl is Esther, because her life is like that of a fairy tale character, a simple girl and an orphan chosen to be queen among all those other women. She exemplifies beauty, humility, courage, and doing the will of the Lord.

Thanks Sister Debbie for the invite to bible characters, I have to agree with you that pastor Mendenhall Is a awesome man of God. With his going thru cancer and watching him thru all of this I have said if I was on a sinking ship He is one I would want on with me. He is a true leader. I would have to say My Favorite would be Noah because he was a man of faith and no matter what was said he went forward and look at the reward and also that the rainbow we can see in the sky today is a reminder of Gods faithfulness to us.

We all can sing, dance, shout ,worship when all is well, but today things are changing what if you lose it all ??? What will you do ? Job did it, and otheres have done it how about you ??? By the way God seen me threw all the things I went threw I'm still serving God with my whole heart ...Devil is a Liar !!!

Praise the Lord everyone,

I thought I would take the time to join this group and experience the joy of talking about the heros of faith. When we talk about Bible characters in a child like manner, it gives me the feeling of being a Sunday school kid again and pitching a quarter into the little church bank with the hole in the top. There is a beautiful spirit about it and it makes me feel all warm and want to sing JESUS love me. Good to be here.

Thanks Janice for inviting me to join this Bible character group, know whose bible character I really love it's Joseph, dispite of all the obstacle he'd been through he still hold on to the promise of God,his life was an encouragement to every christian just be faithful and always wait on the Lord and in the end you will become a victor. In the New Testament it's Barnabas, without him there will probably no Paul and John Mark,he is a great encourager.

GOD BLESSED ME! By: Debra Hearn Jones-3-12-10

God is on time, and recently blessed me in a way , That still makes me feel like I am walking on Air. This is a story about Love, worthiness, and learning to trust, Jesus first and man second. It is also about being released from a life long bondage of hate. I share this for His Glory! My Lord and Savior , Jesus!

The Gift of Life Can Be a Battle

In our lives, we may face many difficult challenges. Situations that demand our immediate attention. Sometimes we become so overwhelmed with troubles in our world, that we easily forget about this blessing called life! If a person is not careful, they will only focus on the bad, and forget the good in their world! Learn to see the beauty that is in life, take a good look at what you do have in this life of yours. This will help you through the battle's that do come in this life of ours.

Take Up Your Bed and Walk!

Has life dealt you a stinky mess? Maybe it is time you took up your bed and walked!

Can You Believe Him for the Glory?

We don't have a hard time believing God for the past, we have seen and heard. We don't have time believing God for the present, we know He can do it. We don't have a hard time believing Him for the future we believe His Word and that He will. However, we do have a hard time believing that the test we are facing can bring Glory to God...

Church Leaders: What Are We Building

Why is one the biggest problem of the church today retention? I have heard of wonderful evangelistic events that have resulted in many being born again: yet a short time later, these people cannot be found. To me, this is a problem. Maybe it has to do with what we are building?
